Work carried out
This was a turnkey project, where we were responsible for the design, procurement, installation, testing and approval.
Class 156 consisted of
- A C6 body overhaul, including door overhauls, exterior spray painting and the correction of any corrosion found
- C4 overhaul of bogies and underframe equipment
- Design of PRM modifications included new compliant toilet module, CET and PIS system
Refurbishment of the saloons, including seats, carpets and interior spraying. Plus technical modifications of some systems including the fire suppression, engine control and auxiliary heaters
The class 153 were C6 body overhauled including door overhauls and exterior paint for three different operators, along with a large number of technical modifications to systems and some interior refurbishment.
