Contract from Porterbrook Leasing Company to undertake a full C6 overhaul and PRM.
Gemini Rail Services are pleased to confirm that unit 323217, the first Cl323 unit for West Midland Trains was successfully delivered from its’ Wolverton facility on 9th February 2019. The unit was part of a contract from Porterbrook Leasing Company to undertake a full C6 overhaul and PRM modifications on a fleet of 26 x 3 car units with an option for a further 17 units for another TOC.
The units will be worked on as a 2 unit holding with 20 working day turnaround time with a train being delivered every 2 weeks and has featured the first Transcal UAT to be fitted in the UK, new saloon LED lighting and a full cab and door overhaul programme.
